Meet The Owners!
Bonnie and Scott Cook started The Potting Shed over 15 years ago in Chelsea, MI. The original Potting Shed was a small shed located on the Cook's property just outside of town. Bonnie and her daughter Ashley would tend to all of the plants in their small greenhouse. Bonnie always dreamed of having a retail store so when a small space opened in downtown Chelsea on West Middle Street, they decided to go for it! Scott, with his building background, remodeled the building and they opened the doors to the public soon after. Bonnie quickly outgrew the space she was in (which is currently the building Cut Loose Clothing is in) and decided to move across the street to 112 West Middle! Since then the Cook's have opened 2 other clothing and jewelry stores, Cut Loose and The Potting Shed on Main St. Coming soon a baby and kids store!...
